PROJECT
Craft packaging, branding, and web design rooted in orchard country
Old Town Cidery is the hard cider arm of Glaize Apples, a family-run apple operation out of Winchester, Virginia—an area I grew up near and know well.
As the sole designer on the project, I designed the can packaging across four cider varieties—Valley Roots, Rosé, Pears Den, and Stomping Grounds, with some names drawing from the character of the region—and a label for their fine cider line, developed multiple packaging concepts before landing on the final direction, refreshed the logo for both brands, and designed the Glaize Apples informational website featuring hand-drawn illustrations.
